"Is it a big deal that she's Canadian?" Considering that nobody's been "from" anywhere for 200 years? Yes.

2026-02-24 23:17:21 +0000 UTCIt is canon from the games that the Deathclaws were created before the war. I think it comes from Fallout 1&2 so not as many people are aware of that lore. The depiction of them in the show is consistent with the games.

2026-02-18 15:21:04 +0000 UTCI still remember seeing a Deathclaw for the first time in New Vegas. Two words: Quarry Junction. Just minding my own business strolling through the Mojave wasteland and see a big creature off in the distance and think, "I've been playing for hours, I got lots of weapons, I'll fight this creature, it'll be fun!" One shot killed. Forgot to save. Lost at least an hour. Fun times all around. Still one of the greatest games ever.

2026-02-18 05:49:44 +0000 UTCLore dump from the games if you don't want any potential spoilers that may be relevant avoid this. The "Elvis's" are from the kings school of impersonation. A faction of people called the kings, they all dress as Elvis and are 'protectors' of the area of freeside. The last one with the guitar is speculated to be the "king" himself. There are a few quests and even a 'furry' companion that could even make an appearance in the show. One of the last events in the fallout universe before the bomb drops was the US annexing the whole of Canada. I can't remember how well the show breaks down this situation though. Deathclaws are in the game! I won't get too far into their actual specific lore because it seems like it might be show relevant with how they are framing it. They are supposed to be the big big bad thing you don't wanna run into. The thing you tell your kid about to keep them in the house.

2026-02-17 22:20:04 +0000 UTCIn the games I’m pretty sure Deathclaws were lizards that got heavily irradiated from the nuclear fallout and turned beastmode - but you’re right the show seems to be implying that they were created beforehand

2026-02-17 19:53:25 +0000 UTCHappy Tuesday Nat. This was a crazy episode. I love the abandoned Las Vegas setting. It's so cool. I haven't played the games so I don't know what the horned creature is. It's certainly got the Ghoul having flashbacks! 👿 Thanks for an epic Fallout reaction today Nat. Excited for the next one😊
