Added 2020-06-21 16:13:08 +0000 UTCIt's been almost a month since I held my 100 watcher raffle and while it didn't go as smoothly as I had expected it would, I'm at least proud that I managed to bunker down over the last two weeks and create something I can be proud of.
So the person who won the raffle, tendertac0s, gave me a very broad idea of what they wanted. Fortunately, while I haven't seen Konosuba for over 4 years, I did remember enough to draft a rough idea of how to tackle the tf. But that's all I really had, a loose draft. So I decided to watch an episode of Konosuba to refresh my memory, and boy was I shocked. I think it's common for newer works to implement a trope subversion one way or another, i.e. smartphone isekai, but Konosuba took it to a whole nother level. And that made the show a lot more compelling to me now that I can observe how these eccentricities develop the cast rather than simple jokes in a vacuum .
Of course I'm sure anyone who's seen Konosuba knows all of this. But if you haven't seen it I suggest you go check it out.
