Pick'n'Mix 10 Release #3 | Next Theme!

Hey all!

We're here with the last of this month's Pick'n'Mix 10 posts. In this theme, we don't stick to any particular biome or consistent location, and let our artists create maps that they just can't get out of their heads!

This month, we're doing things a little differently due to some vacation time and also wanting to really focus on Foundry V13 conversion - the entire month's content has been released and is available now! We'll still do our three posts throughout the month detailing each map so you can learn about its features!

Carboniferous Forest

An ancient forest from a prehistoric age, where giant insects roam. This woodland is full of unusual, time-lost trees. Several enormous exoskeletons of massive insects lie shed on the floor, and a cave reveals a clutch of their writhing young. Variants are included for day/night.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the overhead tree canopies, as well as descend into the cavern beneath the forest floor.

Air Temple

A large temple dedicated to the leader of a peaceful and nomadic monastic order, who channelled the power of the winds to evade and confound their foes. Variants are included for day/night.

For the temple interior, Foundry users are able to pass beneath the overhead canopy beams, or descend down the outer staircases to the courtyard.

In the temple courtyard, a small pool allows for reflection, whilst the world-famous leaf doors are ever twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom - an exercise of grace and agility for young acolytes to pass through.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the tree and banner canopies, as well as ascending the stairs to the temple. Each of the doors of the leaf doors spins independently for an endless dexterity challenge. Variants are included for day/night, as well as with/without the animated spinning doors (and associated noise!)

The gallery has been updated with this content, as well as pCloud, which you can access through your Theme Master List and the Foundry VTT module is updated and ready to be downloaded.

As this was the last post of the theme, the 300ppi map images are now available to download on the Patreon Shop - free for members of our All the Things tier!

Next Theme | MAD TV

We're going for an extremely experimental theme next month, but its one that our artists have been discussing ideas for for over a year!

Over the course of August, we'll be bringing you maps of recognisable locations from famous TV shows and movies, but altered for fantasy to make them work as traditional medieval maps fitting alongside our other themes. The goal is to bring you maps that are fun and useful in their own right, but for fans of the shows may be recognisable.

You'll be able to look forward to such maps as:

• Breaking Bard - An enormous wagon parked in the desert to hide the forbidden alchemy happening inside.

• Iron Mansion - A lavish cliffside mansion overlooking the sea, where an eccentric artificer lives in luxury whilst designing his experimental golems.
