❗ Announcement on Travel Plans and Pausing Billing

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well :)

A while back I announced the trip to Asia that I am taking to visit my grandparents whom I have not seen in 7 years. It will also be the first time I have more than 2 days in a row off of work (other than weekends which don't really count). I will be gone from October 19 to November 17 (not my choice of dates but imposed upon me in a traditional respect-your-elders fashion)

The first stretch of the trip until the 25th is in Japan, but the rest of it will be in China. Unfortunately for me, my original plans were to keep drawing and posting while there, but I've noted some things that will make this impossible. Notably, the great firewall. Pretty much all the sites I use for art, as well as Patreon, Discord and Dropbox that I use to share my artwork here are blocked over there. My dad can get access to a VPN but I don't want to risk anything after hearing about recent crackdowns and alleged surprise searches in my grandparents' city.

So, as such I will be pausing billing for the month of November, and instead focusing my trip on studying fundamentals, comic making, and anything else I can get my hands on, to provide better artwork once I come back.

What does pausing billing mean?

• It means that Patreon will not be charging you for the month of November if you are a supporter. Existing supporters will not be charged for their tier once the month rolls over.
• You do not need to do anything (it is a setting on my page).
• If affects existing users only. Newly joined people and people who are returning may be charged up front, so please be very careful. To make sure those people still have content, I will leave October's artwork up, including the exclusives and comics, uploading till the very last day that I can.
• It will resume in December once I am back home and drawing as usual
• If I do manage to post (or have a friend help post in November) it will not charge anybody.

What about the folders?

• The October 2023 folder will stay live for the month of November
• There won't be a new folder for November as I cannot create nor fill it due to the great firewall.

Also:

• I won't be able to respond to DMs and messages until I come back
• I won't be able to post or share any drawings until I come back
• I expect to be drawing and posting at full speed in December

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I hope you will continue to enjoy my artwork once I am back.
