WIP Wednesday 🔮 - Changing Offices Prep - 2024.05.29
Added 2024-05-30 03:00:04 +0000 UTCHi everybody! Another Wednes! Work days feel like 10 years a piece, but a week feels like it swooshes by and here we are again!
This week I've been working on planning for the upcoming comic chapter. Comic-making is very tough for me since I have a hard time imagining things before I draw them, and it's insanely time consuming (especially the flatting, and colouring) so I want to make sure all the planning is done ahead of time.
Firstly, the 3 recurring characters in their chapter outfits. (Brittany needed a more office-appropriate outfit but I kept the green floral pattern) There are many additional incidental characters in this chapter but they've yet to be designed...
The planned length is 10 pages and there are a lot more panels than the last comic, with some pages having as many as 8 panels. It might not look like much now, but something like this is dozens, possible a hundred+ of hours of work before it's finished. 🙀
Man, I wish I could just shout a few choice words, slam the door, quit my terrible underpaid job, and just be an artist full time...
