Sitting down slowly, she leaned her back against the mirror, feeling the cool surface press against her shoulders as she dropped her head. Shadow, sensing her sorrow, crept up to her side, his soft body rubbing insistently against her arm, as if trying to offer comfort.
"Well, Shadow, I guess youโre not impressed with my 'natural charms' either, huh?" She almost laughed, her voice filled with sarcasm and something close to despair...
