She’d figured she’d ask Lakshmi and Josie for some help. Melissa trusted them. Somebody’s got to talk to him about this, Randi thought. Lakshmi would handle it well. She was responsible like that.

2022-12-27 19:26:30 +0000 UTCOh, I like this turn! I know it varies for everyone, but a big part of the story's appeal from my perspective is the sincere (if extremely smothering) protectiveness. You might be going in a different direction with it, but I Iove the idea of Melissa, her inner circle, and maybe the original staff realizing that some of these other women are less mommy girlfriends and more like dangerous psychos who can't be trusted.
