To be fair to everyone, any variation that takes one hour or more from creation to posting is handled as paid work. I hope for your understanding. For reference, this particular variation took exactly one hour to complete.

2026-02-01 03:41:53 +0000 UTCAh, I see. No worries at all—I misunderstood! Yes, for the blackened/dirt variations from the past few months, I’m not just adding an overlay on top anymore. Instead, I repaint the base of the foot layer itself in gray to black tones, and then add the dirt layer on top of that. The reason I switched to this method is that with the traditional overlay-style dirt, the highlights and original skin tones of the soles tend to remain. In reality, when something gets dirty, those glossy highlights usually disappear, so to add more realism, I decided to remove the highlights and change the shadow colors to gray by creating a separate foot-sole base for the dirty version. That said, this approach does lose some of the roughness and raw feel that the overlay-style dirt has, so I think this is where personal preference may differ. If you have any thoughts or preferences, I’d love to hear them—it would really help as a reference!😆

2026-01-31 20:50:45 +0000 UTCOh, I have no issue with this current style; just an observation that in some more recent PSD files, the black stain has its own redrawn version of the feet rather than being an overlay. I apologize if that came off the wrong way.

(Actually, the current dirt style takes more time to make, so if the older one was better, I’m considering switching back!)
