Struggling, but getting there!

I'm a big fan of zine pages having a subtle 'texture' to their overall design, which is usually obtained by having a vague semi-transparent hint of a screenshot in the background.
In Issue 14, I started trialling AI-generated imagery for background texture use. Nobody commented on it, which is a good sign- it's not meant to draw focus, just to set a tone.
I thought I might share some of the unedited imagery that was generated with you all, as it'd go almost entirely unseen otherwise, what with the text and images covering at all.
Despite the controversy, I still think AI art is an amazing tool when it's accompanied by handmade work. The people getting angry come across like a traditional artist getting mad at digital artists using gradient fills, layers, or brush tools to easily scatter leaves or petals over a scene. They're all amazing tools, and there's still a place for people who do everything by hand as it'll always look more original, but accessibility with art creation is always a positive in my view.
EDIT: It seems that images aren't easily clickable as Patreon attachments, so I've added a zip file called 'TangoPunk Issue 14 Backgrounds' which contains them all.
