Disappointed...
Added 2024-12-13 04:13:24 +0000 UTCYeah, we get Clive from Final Fantasy XVI. He looks really flashy, and really more a Soul Calibur character than a Tekken fighter. But hey, I already paid for him in the Character Pass so whatever I guess. I mean, I'm all for surprising Guest Characters, but this guy is so over the top, I just feel he is so out of place. NONE of the Tekken roster is in his league. Azazel feels like a rank and file mob to the guy. Also, I didn't play FFXVI, so he means nothing to me.
We do get a new costume based on Jill Warrick, Clive's love, which is either just for Lili or all females, and one based on Joshua for Leo I think. I hope these are free or cheap and I am sure we'll try to get her barefoot. Aside from that- well, for Tekken 8 we can still look forward to Anna in Season 2.
Maybe someday, we'll still get her in Tekken 8 yet. But hey- there's always Character Customization to get our Tifa fix, right? Heheh...

They are really trying to keep FF16 in people's mind. First the crossover in FF14 (which was fine for me and many others) and now this. I won't lie though, I was hoping for Tifa. But I also pray for Anna's return.
