Tekken 8's 'Secret' KO Pose is the Best Ever?

As you should know, I compose my KO Endings and KO Galleries using free camera mods in combination with a Poser or Pose script- which fortunately is true for our main games such as Tekken 7, Streetfighter 6, the Dead or Alive games and Soul Calibur VI. But if a Poser is not available to us, such as with the newest brawler on the block, Tekken 8, we have to make do with the default KO Poses we can find and capture. These poses appear during Win Anmations where the Victor interacts in some way with the Loser, such as Zafina crawling away from the unconscious opponent, or Leroy throwing shade. There are poses which have been around forever- such as the KO in Zafina's Win Screens, which we've been using since Tekken 6. There are several new KOs in Tekken 7, one of which is a face-up KO that is seen with win screens of Asuka, Leroy and Shaheen.

But what if I told you that there is a sexy 'Hidden' KO pose that made its debut in Tekken 8? Well, as you can see from the pics above- it's a classic face-up pose, arms to the side, one leg bent and raised with the other leg extended. It's sexy, it's relatively well composed (the loser's body is more or less aligned well on the floor), and it shows... a lot. Where can this KO be found? Well, for starters, its NOT in a Win Animation, like other KO poses.

Nope, this KO pose is from Kazuya Mishima, and is found by finishing off your opponent with his Rage Art. After Kaz delivers the final, spiteful kick to the defeated loser, the camera will then zoom on him as he badmouths the loser. BUT, if you immediately go into free camera mode and turn to the loser, you'll then see them in the sexy KO pose seen above. Without freecam, we'd never see it, which is why I call it 'secret'.

Some caveats- since its still technically in the round (not in the Win screen), the Loser will by default still have their 'pained' face and is still 'awake'. To make this an actual KO, we need to use Cheat Engine to change the facial expression. Second, I believe that this KO cannot be done on Jun, since it has been mentioned that Kazuya will not deliver the final kick to her- since she IS his lady love, after all... how sweet?

Anyway, I got to say that while the Zafina KO is perhaps the most popular and long standing KO, and the Mid-Hit KO still a guilty pleasure, the Kazuya Rage Art KO has become a new favorite of mine, and may be the best KO pose in Tekken 8.
