Youtube Gives Us 2nd Community Strike! Time for... Odysee?

Well, THAT happened.

We just got another Community Guidelines Strike on the Youtube Channel. This means that if we get another strike, the channel is going to be removed. We're also on another 2-week hiatus there, which again sucks, though I guess that just means we will focus our efforts here. But again, I have put in more than a decade of work into the Youtube channel, so it would really suck if it is nuked, and honestly YT is the best place to post vids and we have a large audience already. Damn this sucks. So I am hoping and praying our appeal somehow overturns this second strike and keeps out channel and all our work safe.

That said, not all is entirely lost. For starters, months ago, we setup a channel on Odysee, so at least we do have a backup/archive of all our Youtube content. With our current situation here, we may have to start posting new vids there from here on.

After I set it up, I promptly just ignored it, so we have only 33 subs there lol. But we may have to ask our subs on Youtube to migrate there. I assume Odysee doesn't have the crappy censorship Youtube has, so that at least is a plus.

In any case, at least for the next 2 weeks, I'll be posting new videos on Odysee and seeing if its really a viable outlet. Just in case the worst comes to pass. I'm crossing my fingers that somehow we get through this, but of course we got to prepare. The good news is that whatever happens, the content here on Patreon continues regardless, so stay tuned for the next KO. Later then!
