Tekken 8: Return of the River City Girls! (UPDATED)
Added 2024-06-03 06:40:43 +0000 UTCIn case you all didn't know, I'm a fan of the cool and funny anime-style beat 'em up, River City Girls from Way Forward. It's a Double Dragon-style fighting adventure starring a pair of cute but deadly schoolgirls named Misako (the brunette) and Kyoko (the redhead) as they scour River City in search of their boyfriends who have apparently been kidnapped. It's a polished and fun brawler with a lengthy adventure graced by cool comic book panels and cutscenes, tough bosses and crowds of enemies to beat up on.
I tried before to remake the Girls in Tekken 7, which was fine but still lacked a little something. Now however, I think I've gotten them almost perfect. So for here, I've cast Reina as the dark-haired, tomboyish Misako while Asuka cosplays as ditzy but dangerous Kyoko. Of course, since this is from me, the girls will fight barefooted to settle their differences in a fierce but friendly sparring match. It seems that someone got the upper hand by the end, but don't worry- knocking each other out cold from time to time is normal for these girls...
A feature video will be posted on Youtube soon, and perhaps full KO matches to come in the future, so stay tuned for that. For now though, enjoy this gallery of screenshots of the River City Girls, Tekken 8-style!
UPDATE: I noticed that Misako's skirt (which is a mod) was clipping through her shirt, so I've replaced it with a different skirt. Ingame, Misako wears shorts, but what's the fun in that lol. Aside from that, I've changed the eye colors of the girls- red for Misako, blue for Kyoko. So this is an all-new batch of screenshots to match the changes and the upcoming video. So, if you've already DL'ed the earlier batch, you now have two galleries, congrats!

I only use the first Feet mod, which has been updated to 1.06. If you mean the Tekken 6 version Feet mod, it's still WIP.

2024-06-04 06:12:33 +0000 UTCRCG is pretty cool, it's one of the more polished, cool beat 'em ups, as its by Way Forward and published by ArcSystemWorks. Worth looking up. But yeah, Reina and Asuka look pretty nice in this cosplay- I think I got them a lot better and closer to the characters now than when I tried this for Tekken 7.
