Status Update - Nov 2022

Geez, didn't realize it's been that long of a time since I did one of these. 

I'm currently squirelling away at the next game update while doing multiple things. I still haven't moved as it was meant to be a month ago but from the sounds next month sometime it will probably be as it's gotten urgent.

Game wise I've been focusing and swapping between updating tinies in the overworld from their battles, scanning to see if they're citizens and opening up more options in general for them from good to evil. I need to make a ton of civilian tiny battlers if you choose to 'end' them as they'll usually beg or try to escape. So I've taken the time to do part of an event I've had in my mind for ages before I wear myself out with them. It took me awhile to get the 3x shoes there to work correctly.

One of the things I wanted to do for ages was to allow Tsumi to fly to Japanihon with Ajia to one of the Shrinkex branches there to help out and have a business meeting for a day or 2. There you can walk around the town that Ajia grew up in and even visit the er... 'University' she used to attend and be part of a dodgy group with till she disbanded. Some of you will recognize it straight away (Shrink High), but don't get too excited as the original was not my game and all I want to do is make a few nods and easter eggs to that awesome old game. It's 95% 1:1 recreated with a different tileset for the outside (That's the old multiscreenshot there). I ran out of budget this month but next month I'll hopefully be able to get a few images with Tsumi reminiscence of Shrink High 1 before my artists take a holiday. A few funny cutscenes and flashbacks with Ajia will be in it if you find that area. For the Chisana's there I'll most likely be making it tiny pov than Tsumi as she already has events for sushi in POV. But if I get time I might make a POV event for her there. The plane you see there is a test for the map but you get the idea.

Other things currently working on:

- Ajia sushi animation (the 1st pic gif there) didn't turn out correct so animator is currently trying to fix it. Hopefully will be out before end of this month and why I'll most likely release artbatch on the last day when I can put it in.

- Dani has a digital art in POV similar to last Ajia one but it didn't turn out very well :( I'm currently editing it to try make it work but I might have to call it a loss and just post it. There's part of it shown above.

- The red head is Jade, one of Tsumi's longtime tomboy friends. She'll make an appearance in game some time. I've still got to add Dianne in.

- Some unshown ones that I've shown a sketch of in Discord is of Dani sucking on a straw from tiny pov which will be for her event. I might get those in artbatch as I need to edit them still. Been trying to get the design brief for her short story so it can get done but still running into issues and implementing them into the game.

- Not sure if I've ever mentioned it here but I've decided to give manga short stories/comics a shot again (I stopped comics due to piracy and others making more money from reselling it, it took me a year to make back what it cost me originally), I've been trying to find a decent affordable artist for them and tried a few (that's how I found one for V&D webtoons) but still looking. 

I'm aiming for next game update to be in towards end Dec. There is a chance I might not be able to because of everything going on with another move and stressing about it. Artists have priority for me before they go on holidays as Dec/Jan this is the worst time of year for me with hiring people as they all go on break, and everyone starts wanting orders from them.

Thanks again everyone for your support, it's been the worst year of my life and not the easiest. The past year I seriously appreciate everything you've all done to help me and it's really helped me a lot and take my mind off things.
