Tekken 8 Cosplay: Elena (FFV7R)
Added 2024-12-20 16:57:15 +0000 UTCYep, like a lot of gamers disappointed (at least initially) with the inclusion of a character from the wrong FF game into Tekken 8, I wanted to correct this in my own way. So here we are- a Final Fantasy VII character in the King of Iron Fist Tournament... ELENA! Wait, she wasn't the one everyone was asking for? Really?
All right, kidding aside- Elena isn't Tifa... or isn't she? Isn't everyone always saying she's pretty much a blonde Tifa? Not really sure if its true that she has the same character model, but whatever. I've always liked Elena, even back in the OG FF7 days. But FFVII Rebirth's version is super cute and adorable, even when she's all bratty and pouty. But then what put things over the top was a CG art by RyonAshi of Elena Barefoot with her feet up, perfect soles right in our face demanding to be kissed and worshipped right there. I pretty much fell in love with that pic, so I wanted to bring that Elena into Tekken 8, and here we are.
Elena specializes in martial arts and hand-to-hand (well, hand-to-foot) combat. In the course of her training she realized that shoes were a hindrance as the heels kept breaking. So when she expects battle she kicks off her boots and fights barefoot.
As for who to be Elena's 'host', I initially chose Reina, but I thought eventually she was too crafty... Elena is a bad girl, but there's a bit of naivete and innocence to her. Nina was another choice, but she is too, um, mature (I think she's better as another character too). Eventually I went with Lili, and I think she has the look down pat, the cocky spunkiness tempered with cuteness, and she is blonde off the bat.
So yeah, just equip the blazer suit, slacks and color them all black (except for the inner shirt of the top). Equip the Asuka Short Hair and Bare Feet and you're done. Expect to see our Barefoot Elena in action from here on. Who will she be encountering on her way to the top?
UPDATE: Apparently Elena is supposed to have brown eyes, so if you're down with having that detail, install an eye color mod.
