SF6 Mai Gameplay Trailer Out, Release Date Revealed!

Well, the Good Girl didn't disappoint. Mai Shiranui's Gameplay Trailer frp, Streetfighter 6 showed off her kicking ass and looking amazing while she was at it. As expected, her somewhat controversial face looked much better in the actual game (I never had a problem with it, really- she looks great). The two and a half minute trailer showed off actual gameplay, with Mai's Alternate Costume- her Biker Outfit from City of the Wolves being revealed. We also are shown what is probably her World Tour Master Cutscene, which has lavish views of her, but unfortunately in the trailer has her in the Alt costume.

We see her having a bit of a special intro with Chun-Li, which is a nice callback to their long-standing rivalry since the Capcom VS SNK days. Her attacks are very familiar, including her fan toss, air drive, air throw and the fire pillar (Kagero No Mai), which apparently powers her up with an all-new Fire state. Her win pose ends with her laying down before you in a nice closeup, and I think she looks amazing. If she looked a bit rough or 'generic' to some in the teaser, I'd say she has hugely improved since then. SF6 Devs show they have love for Mai just as much as they did with Terry. Once again, I am SO overjoyed that they selected the Real Bout version of her ninja costume as her Default- Barefoot Mai is Best Mai and as I've said before- we need to always support this awesome game.

But on top of all that, we don't have long to wait. Mai drops on February 5! Not too far away- we get to play with VF5 REVO a bit until the Ninja Girl arrives. She looks spectacular, and I hope that her win poses, intros, KO pose are all we want from this newest World Warrior. Can't wait!
