Tekken 8: Last Mods Standing

Well, just to recap what happened earlier today- pretty much a 'Mod-pocalypse' for Tekken 8 that came with Update 1.11. What should have been a fun patch that gives us more customization slots and allow us to set customized characters on the Main Menu screen also had the side effect of breaking a lot of mods.

Basically, if you have a broken mod installed, if you try to load a fight with that customization or mod, you'll cause a CTD. I'm no modder, but a modder friend of mine said that mods with a certain file would cause this, and mods with cloth or jiggle physics will also be affected. Anyway, I have the impression that once the exact cause is found out, modders can avoid using it in future mods.

Anyway, not every mod broke fortunately- quite a few are still working so we're not totally back to the dark ages.

First and foremost, our Tekken 8 Female Feet Overhaul mod STILL works, so that alone is pretty huge.

In terms of swimwear, the Tropical Bikini Redux and Alternate Mini Bikini mods are also still working- one relatively 'safe', one over the top hot are available. Some other swimsuit mods are okay as well. Also, apparently most of Lidia's sexy mods by nobrandburger are also all working, so Lidia fans should be happy.

Unfortunately, most of our Character Mods were affected, including the recently-released Tifa mod. The only one currently working is Hitomi.

I'll try my best to update the Character mods and get them fixed/updated. Hopefully modders will learn from this and be able to avoid it in the future. For now though, a bit of a setback but we're still here, and we're still bringing the sexy KOs. Hey, at least Mai is in SF6, not this game lol.
