Tekken 8 Cosplay: Babes of Bushido Blade

I'm a bit of an Old Timer, as some of you may suspect- so I've been around when videogames weren't quite as detailed and graphically impressive as they are these days. But even so, games had hot babes aplenty, even if we had to use our imaginations to picture them barefoot.

One of the more memorable games during the PSX days was Bushido Blade, a very unusual weapon-based fighter from Square (yep) whose theme was realism- One Hit Kills. There were no life bars- one good, solid hit could kill, or KO your opponent. It was ahead of it's time, but I loved it. I loved the KOs (or kills, I guess), since every weapon kill resulted in a different KO animation and pose. Bushido Blade may be one of the games that started me on the sleepy and KO fetish.

Anyway, the roster of blade-wielding psychos included two lovely ladies. Red Shadow AKA Hotarubi was the blonde haired assassin who looked amazing with yellow orange kimono and red panties. The other babe was Mikado, a Japanese woman who wore Hakama and seemed to be a miko or priestess of some sort (who had no problems hacking people i guess). Neither was barefoot, unfortunately- Red Shadow had sandals, but at least you could see her big feet and toes. Mikado wore white tabi with no sandals.

While not quite up to the level of Cammy or Nina Williams, or even Ryoko from Fighter's History, I love the Bushido Babes. Recently I saw some pics online which reminded me of them, so I went into Character Customization to recreate Hotarubi and Mikado in Tekken 8.

Lidia is perfect for Red Shadow, and I think the yellow-orange and red color scheme is pretty distinct. The recently-released Sublime Kimono is used for her, with no sandals now, FINALLY after all these years. Meanwhile, Jun is the perfect Mikado as well, and with Asuka's Hakama outfit she looks the part (Miko outfit is currently not usable). Add the Naginata and she's perfect.

Some gamers who played Bushido Blade may remember another babe in the game, albeit an unplayable one. That third babe is actually one of the game's bosses, and an actual barefoot babe. Hokkyoku Tsubame really piqued my interest when I saw her, since her sexy samurai armor look included 'barefoot' leggings. I've tried to recreate her using Nina.Expect to see our Bushido Blade Babes in action sometime in the future.
UPDATE: The Accessories mod by fertexhid has been fixed- which means I can give Hotarubi her red nails. :)
