Tekken 8 Season 2 More Info...

Well, the Tekken Talk Anna/Season 2 Special just aired. It was two hours of the usual stuff- lots of talk about merch and tournament events we don't care about, but at least we get to see more of upcoming returning girl Anna. She's looking dangerous with pretty ridiculous damage and unique stuff like a debuff attack that causes her opponent to take chip damage from everything... AKI flavor, a bit? I am still not sure about making her all based on her new toy, Lovely Tom the Bazooka, but whatever. At least its different.

After a whole lot of new character moves from various fighters, we get to a much-debated point; whether or not a new season's DLC fighters should be revealed at the start (like in SF6) or if the previous surprise announcements should stay. A bit of compromise was reached and we now are shown not the exact identity of the characters, but at least an aspect of it. So from the pic above, we can see that after Anna, we'll be seeing two returning characters and one all-new challenger coming... No Guests this time, so no Tifa this Season.

Also, apparently the color of the boxes for the returning characters are a hint at who the character will be. Who knows then? Who is represented by Blue? I think Purple can stand for either Kunimitsu or Julia. Or maybe Blue connotes a male, purple female, since previously Lidia had a purple background, Hei had blue? I dunno.

Hoping for the best, at least. I still love Tekken 8 quite a lot with whatever the flaws- its still the prettiest Tekken ever, and the most fun for me. Reina and Azu are amazing and we get Lidia in Season 1, so its all good. Till then, I've got Guest Fighters of my own coming, so stay tuned for that. Anyway, stay tuned for more KO Content to come.
