Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Lune Trailer
Added 2025-03-27 15:15:16 +0000 UTCBeen waiting for this- we finally get the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 character trailer for the gorgeous mage and barefoot beauty, Lune (pronounced 'loon-nay' btw). She's an elemental magic-user who apparently blends dance and martial arts with her spells, making for a truly dazzling sight to see in action. They haven't yet mentioned exactly why she's barefoot by default, not that we need any reason to have this so. I do want to know why, even if its just a throwaway line, or an actual explanation she gives. She is able to fly or float at will, it seems, so maybe that just lets her dispense with any need for footwear.
In any case yeah- Lune is my biggest reason for getting this game. I mean, I love RPGs regardless, and this looks amazing. Having a barefoot babe in it just makes it a Must Get. The game is about a month away- but for now, enjoy the trailer.

On X, the official Clair Obscur account responded to a comment remarking about Lune being barefoot. They said something to the effect that she can't let herself be weighed down by shoes (referring to how she flies when she sprints), she has places to go. So yeah, the devs really like Lune to be barefoot, which I truly love. :)
