I've had my eye on the now-released turn-based RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ever since my foot-loving eyes caught a glimpse of a female character's bare shins and feet. Was that girl barefoot? I've been on the lookout for this game, looking to find out more about this potential barefoot muse. This shoeless siren turned out to be the beautiful Lune, one of the game's party of protagonists- a brilliant mage whose magic seems to involves having her feet bare... which pretty much meant I had to have this game in my library.
So yep, Lune's default outfit- which is her Expedition uniform, is barefoot by default. We first see her in the game playing guitar in a performance during a festivity in the story. Of course we had to go in to admire this barefoot goddess up as close as we could get. As we can see, her feet are covered in some sort of arcane runes (which fortunately aren't too obtrusive) which are likely for her magic, and probably also protect her feet so she doesn't stub her toes when she walks around (although she can pretty much levitate or fly at will). Then again, they could be entirely cosmetic and she's just a barefooter in any case.
I've got the game, but I've barely begun playing so far- so many recent releases on my plate. I will of course try to get more foot-age or Lune as I go through the game, including hopefully KOs with her in battle and wherever else opportunities we get to just ogle this goddess. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is out right now and getting top reviews all around, so if you can, grab it. Games with gorgeous barefoot heroines should always be supported!
For now, enjoy the screens (and the screens are oh, so wonderful) and attached video of Lune, and stay tuned- hopefully we'll see more of this barefoot babe soon.
