We've got an extra-special Guest Fighter joining our roster, and its none other than the lovely and lethal Cammy from Streetfighter. Well, Streetfighter 6, to be exact, although this is her Classic Costume version (which is one of my all-time favorites). Delta Red Cammy is here to join the King of Iron Fist Tournament to kick some ass and look great while she's at it.
One of the OG Videogame Babes, Cammy's been around since Streetfighter 2, and her classic beret, leotard and boots are iconic... well, to be honest, I've always wanted to get those Doc Marten-likes off of her and see her beautiful bare feet, and we've done that quite a few times. But never did I actually think we'd see Barefoot Cammy in action- in Tekken 8! Yeah, we're making Tekken X Streetfighter ourselves, because Bamco can't.
So Cammy here is one of our later Tekken 8 mods, not quite a fullbody port of her SF6 model, just her head and outfit. Her feet though are from our own Tekken 8 Female Feet Overhaul, because of course Cammy would have perfect, beautiful feet.
Cammy is a replacer mod for Nina Williams. Cammy's Head replaces the Full Face Helmet and her torso/leotard and legs replace the Cache-Coeur Blouse and Culotte Miniskirt items. For her feet, you can either equip the Bare Feet item or the Short Boots to get her barefooted. If, for some reason, you want her to wear her Big Boots, equip the Golden High Heels. She is not colorable, btw.
To complete the transformation, I actually commissioned a Cammy Voice Mod. We have two versions- an SFV and an SF6 version! Both are fairly similar (since the VA is the same) but I think the SF6 is slightly better. Try each one out (only install one) and see which you like. The mods replace her Intros, Outros and Interactions with some fighters. Unfortunately, the voice mods don't have support for Anna, so fights with her will default to Nina's lines (sadly I can no longer contact the modder to update).
Anyway, getting Cammy into Tekken 8 is a dream come true of sorts, thanks to TheRessen as always for making it happen. Gotta say, Cammy looks GOOD, and while arguably she looks of course best in SF6, Cammy's feet have never looked better than they do here.
Download her, install as with any other Tekken 8 mod (put the Voice mods into the '~mods' folder) and enjoy! Expect to see Cammy in Tekken 8 action from here on.
