Tekken 8 Cosplay: C.Viper (Streetfighter 6)
Added 2025-06-15 13:26:26 +0000 UTCWe've got another World Warrior Woman brought to Tekken 8 via Character Customization, and this is the other babe coming to Streetfighter 6 later this year, none other than the gadget girl herself, Crimson Viper, or C.Viper as she's more commonly known. She's a red-headed beauty, a kickass secret agent and a hardworking momma all in one... reminds me of another gorgeous gal I'd love to give foot massages to all day.
Introduced way back in Streetfighter 4, Viper was meant to be the main protagonist and new girl to lead the story and saga, shown in lavish cinematics fighting Chun-Li. But apparently, Viper's relatively complex moves and play style didn't appeal to most gamers, so she never really became popular. I think it was also because she wasn't really a martial artist or fighter- all her power rested in the gadgets and hi-tech weapons she wore in her suit, and she came off as more of a villain, a henchwoman for the evil organization of S.I.N. She especially came off as pretty evil when she was shown rather brutally beating up fan fave Cammy in the SF4 Anime OVA. Of course, it was eventually revealed she was a double agent, a CIA agent working on the inside against the baddies. Furthermore, she was doing it all for her little girl.
But perhaps what really sunk Viper in popularity was the entrance of one Juri Han. The actual bad girl of the game (Juri was indeed the first real villainess in the series), the future Foot Queen totally became the favorite in the game, and has been a mainstay since, while Viper took a leave of absence, sitting out Streetfighter V.
Well, she's coming back as part of Year 3 in SF6, coming in Autumn 2025 after Sagat. That's several months away, so why not having her with us NOW? Well, via our Tekken 8 Character Customizations, of course. I've tried my best and I think we have a fairly nice representation of her upcoming SF6 version, albeit bootless (thanks to the Stirrups mod for giving us semi-barefoot Viper). I actually tried doing the classic CV in the suit, but switched to the newer version at the last minute.
We have Nina of course standing in for Viper, because of course, and I think she looks and moves pretty much as you'd expect from a corporate assassin as Viper is as well. But best of all, our Viper has the sexy dominating soles to stomp and step on her targets' faces for the win...
Expect C.Viper to see action (and KOs) alongside fellow SF6 Debutante Ingrid (whom I updated recently) from here on. For now, enjoy the screens!
