Tekken 8 Cosplay: Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop)

It's been a hot minute since my last Tekken 8 Cosplay, so let's fix that with a set that I should've done a long time ago. Well, actually the pieces of this cosplay came together only very recently so I guess it was just the right time to do it now. We've got anime heroine Faye Valentine from the classic and acclaimed sci-fi anime, Cowboy Bebop here for your admiration. She's THE dangerous and delightful femme fatale of anime, mainstay of figurines, posters, fan art and the very dreams of every anime otaku back in the 90s. Well, there's really no bad time for this hottie- beauty is timeless and Faye really is a beauty.

So, the most distinct part of this cosplay just became available recently via the 2.6 Update (Armor King), and that's the Dark Queen Long Hair, which may not be exactly how Faye's hair is, but when I see it, I think of her. The cut of the side bangs, the hair at the front- its the closest thing to Faye's look- certainly better than any of the currently available hairs/bobs which just aren't right IMO. The rest of her outfit is simply the Cyber Phantom Upper and Lower parts, which is natural since this is a sci-fi character we're making. Just color the jacket red and the main outfit yellow- her iconic colors. The leggings are a lighter shade of pink or maroon, just find an artwork or image that you can refer to. Of course, our Faye is barefoot, so no need for boots, but we gave her some long painted nails on her fingers and impeccable nail polish on her toes... as she would have if she fought bootless.

Anna is of course the only choice to play her- a femme fatale to play a femme fatale. Also, the cannon-fu style is easily perfect as Faye is a guns babe definitely. The only thing left is to find a suitable rival for her- for now, a robot is a stand-in, but I guess maybe we can dress up someone as Spike or Jet for Faye to spar with. We'll see. Wait... Ed... What about Ed...?
