Tekken 8: Happy Birthday, Lili, our Lovely, Leggy Feet Princess

Apparently someone we adore very much celebrated her special day recently- it's none other than Tekken 8's beautiful Fighting Heiress, Lili Rochefort! Hey, I posted a birthday feature for Reina, I'll post for every Tekken lady after if I can. Unlike Reina, who is a relatively new favorite of mine- I've been a Lili fan since, well, Tekken 6.

It all began with that first screenshot- a somewhat low quality pic taken with a cellphone camera of Tekken 6 in the arcade- showing Lili in her iconic white dress. But there was something very different- her always-present gogo boots were gone, revealing long, bare legs that ended with very pretty, very bare feet. From then on, I was hooked. Yes, Tekken 6 brought with it character customization that was a step ahead of other games, allowing actual changes to characters and their outfits (unlike Virtua Fighter 4 or Tekken 5 which basically just let you paste random things onto the fighters' bodies)- including removing shoes and having the Tekken fighters barefoot. Of course, Lili (and then Asuka) became my absolute faves- the rest is history.

Since then, Lili fans have always been known for a few things- once of them being that they're in it mainly for her FEET. Got to say... it's true. All the Tekken Babes are gorgeous, all of them have perfect feet- but Lili's soles and toes are surely the most lovely, the most well-groomed, the most fragrant (or glamorously stinky for those into that) and probably the most pleasant to have stomping on one's face. Lili's feet just hit different. So yeah, we're hers for life, and what a life it is. Happy Birthday to Lady Emilie de Rochefort (even if she probably won't age still), and here's her stomping and dancing into more Tekkens to come.
