I've just been having some of the roughest months of ma life and haven't had much time to work on anything outside of commissions xwx

Bit of real talk here...
While this has been a huge passion project and I really wanna keep working on it for as long as i'm able to, life keeps getting increasingly more expensive and the support I currently get, while highly appreciated, is not quite enough for me to pursue something like this for much longer :c
I get that my lack of output is the main thing that affects the support but there is only so much I can do with my current situation (chronic arm/shoulder pain).
I'm having some insecurities lately... feeling like I'm biting more than I can chew with such a "grand" vision.
I'm doing all this worldbuilding and shit but I'm afraid the story is moving so slowly that it's just not getting as much attention as I'd like to... and that's nobody's fault but my own, really.
Maybe if I were to let this die and dedicate myself to smaller stories or 3-4 page long comics of only smut, my audience would grow even more and I'd be able to live more comfortably
But then again, this story has come so far and I wouldn't want all this buildup to end up in... nothing.
I really don't know what to do at this point.
I guess for now I'll keep going with it for as long as I can. If I'm unable to continue, I'll let everyone know and we'll see how we move forward from there.

Take all the time you need and make sure to keep yourself safe. If that means the comic has to take a hiatus or break or just takes longer than anticipated, that's ok. There is no use if you rush or push yourself and bury yourself in work or mess just to please others. Please make sure to look after yourself, no matter how much time and other resource it takes. I love these pages btw, big fan of how you draw the expressions

Not officially but I always have to take breaks from the comic to keep working on comms lol What I've been thinking is, finishing this chapter and then going on a real hiatus, then, switch to a visual novel format so that I have to draw less and fit more of the story and world building more easily ^^ that's my current plan of action at least

2025-10-30 15:28:55 +0000 UTCI absolutely loved the world-building in this story and don't mind if it takes a while to build up. Could put this on hiatus if you need to focus on some other smaller projects but I would certainly hope this story come to finish one day. Stay positive!
