There is one event that is about to come up I'm probably like two to three episodes that was spoiled in the anime opening. After that you can watch the first opening. There is still one more spoiler that spoiled mango readers but unless you know what you're looking at you probably won't get it.

Hiyori and komurasaki are the same person. Orochi still thinks that she is dead and sent kamazou only after toko for laughing at him. This isn't a spoiler, just a clarification

The fight with the alpaca and armadillo is out of the manga, a lot of the fights that came before were filler, like the one against bat-man and the gazelle. That's why it feels like it's dragging on.

Just did the math, and it's roughly 40 episodes give or take until you can watch the New opening. Thankfully you can watch the old opening in a couple episodes. At least by the end of September.

I'm also still assuming Hiyori and Komurasaki are one and the same. Same speech patterns, same voice, same hair color and face. Also, remember what the assassin, Kamazo, said in the last few episodes. It was something akin to: "I'm just ordered to kill the brat who won't stop laughing. Why are you so desperate to protect her, woman?". So it could mean Orochi only sent him after Toko and doesn't know about Komurasaki/Hiyori surviving yet. Hiyori referring to "we angered the shogun" is still technically the truth if that is the case. Because even if the assasin was only after Toko, it was still Toko and her who caused the incident during Orochi's party.

Komurasaki is hiyori, Momos sister. Kamazou wasn't actually after komurasaki rather He was after Otoko The one that caused komurasaki's "death".
