honestly though, komurasaki in the manga is played alot cooler and seductive. Almost like a Robin. The one in the anime is not as hype.

so I can't say for sure, as this is a theory put together by what we've seen in the anime to date. However, judging by Kyoshiro's reaction to Orochi ordering the execution of Tonoyasu, as well as the fact that Hiyori, whom he had supposedy slashed and killed, was in fact still alive, I get the feeling that Kyoshiro is a deep-cover double-agent for the Wano resistance much like Hiyori was. Much like how Hyyori was posing as the Orian Komurasaki in order to glean information from Orochi to help the cause of the rebellion, so too was Kyoshiro by posing as a Yakuza boss that was loyal to Orochi. What's more is that he was also likely serving as a guard of sorts for Hyori: Specifically that if the time ever came (as it had) that Hyori wasn't able to maintain the facade of her fealty to Orochi and that she was in danger of being killed by him or his associates, Kyroshiro would then take on the job himself, using stage magic trickery to "kill Komurasaki" in order to ensure that Hiyori doesn't die for real. This is the theory I have put together by what we watched so far, but if any of it has been confirmed or denied by the Manga please don't tell me.
