I can finally say my thought, after waiting for so long to resub. Firstly I love them developing Megumin and Kazuma's relationship. Secondly this movie had me crying when I first watched it and not only because it was funny, but the ending was emotional. What people never really give much attention to is that Kazuma could have died permanently after that explosion, if Aqua wasn't able to find anything left out of him. As for the final scene, it really shows how much Megumin has been struggling with worrying whether or not her Explosion is good, simply because she thought she will continue endangering her allies. Blowing up Darkness and now Legit killing Kazuma. And then the character Kazuma showed to not only deciding not to make use of her card, but Actually inspiring her to continue chasing her dream. In my eyes, the moment Megumin let out those tears, she fell in love with Kazuma. Btw SMF, from this point on the show gets a lot more story concerned, it will be still funny as hell if they have more seasons, some absolutely hilarious moments had me dying even while reading, but at the same time, the plot will progress more and more, more in the terms of the movie if we get seasons 3. P.S. This whole reaction makes me x100 sadder when I realize that I am currently reading the LAST Novel of Konosuba.

2020-09-06 04:52:09 +0000 UTCOne of the best things that isn't really elaborated too much in the show/movie ever, is that they get exp for defeating/killing the monsters or eating high quality food from rare monsters. As a result, Megumin is pretty high level, Kazuma is really low level. AND BECAUSEEEEE Komekko pulled the trigger, she got the experience for killing Sylvia the first time. So she now is roughly the same level as Kazuma/potentially even a higher level than him. lol

2020-09-06 02:34:19 +0000 UTCSince they left it out of this movie, I do not think this will ever be explained, but the cat, Chomsuke, was one of the demons that the Crimson Demon clan was supposed to keep sealed. Komeko, the sister, let it out and was keeping it to be a meal. It was a really fun origin story in the light novels, but would have taken up too much time in the movie.
