Yes this happens all the time in Isekai genres to such an extent that these shows make fun of it. You started backwards when hopping into the Isekai genre. Shows like Konosuba and Re:zero were designed to be Deconstructions or Satires of the Isekai genre because of how prevalent those tropes were. It's also funny that the shows that were designed to be a satire or make fun of the Isekai genre also happen to be some of the best Isekai shows made.

Yes this is an Isekai show, however, the context of this show is a bit different then most Isekai shows as its deconstruction of the Isekai genre. This means the show doesn't use a lot of the same tropes that Isekai shows use or it subverts those tropes quite a bit. In my personal opinion it's one of the best Isekai shows ever made because of this.

This first double episode was pretty sweet and I look forward to the next episode.....I may not be able to wait!
