Albedo's code was messed with so that's why she loves him Shalltear is into necrofilia so that's her reasoning. It is worth noting that while Ainz was the Guild Master he was not the strongest in the guild.

2022-04-23 15:33:36 +0000 UTCI like how you touch on Ainz being selfish. This is part of the core message around Ainz as a character. He loves everything in Nazarick so much, he does not want to loose any of it. The whole tomb reminds him of his friends. That is not very well conveyed in the anime, but gets a lot more of space in the light novel, where you see more of his thought process. Besides that, the truth is that he is the only one, who has to fight Shalltear, because he is the one to prove himself as a leader and ruler of Nazarick. He has to show everyone, that he is in that position not just because he is one of the creators, but because he is a leader. That is his struggle and his character arc, living up to the expectations all of Nazarick put on him. He is OP, but as a leader, he is quite the noob, even if he is smart. So this is the area of character development for Ainz. Everything related to NPCs in the game was straight forward, a command and execution. Here Ainz has to deal with real beings, something he is not use to, because irl he is just a gamer, who had his friends in an online game rather than in real life.

2022-03-19 20:18:47 +0000 UTC@Florin you're right. The raid bosses where the guild members waiting for players in level 10 in the throne room. @Lee you are slightly incorrect. Shalltear has the highest sum of stats. If you combine all her stat values together, she reaches by far the highest amount. So when people say "strongest" they refer to that. She is not the highest in some of them, but depending on their combat role (tank, dps) she still has quite high stats overall. Her defence does not match Albedo's, but it's not that far away either, as you would expect from someone, who is focusing more on dps. She is also not the highest in dps either, but still pushes out very high numbers almost reaching those heights. She is a so called allrounder or jack of all traits, but the key here is, that her stats are actually higher than you would expect from an allrounder. That's one reason to why she is so dangerous. Shalltears stats and skills are the result of Peronochino's powerplay. This guy used all his knowledge to create the "perfect" guardian. He is also the one who wrote the Encyclopedia to the world of Yggdrasil, so he knew tons of mechanics and found a way to combine them in a weird meta way in Shalltear. She is nothing close to being OP (that title might go to Rubedo), but the way the meta worked there, she was the best suited guardian to denfend against raiding players and thus the "strongest" guardian.

2022-03-19 19:07:51 +0000 UTCIf people are interested in the lore of world items, I recommend reading up on the Caloric Stone, which is aquired through masses of resources. POSSIBLE SPOILER! The best part about that item, is that it might have been used to create Rubedo, who resides on the 8th floor of Nazarick, the deepest one, that have been reached by a raid of 1500 players. And there is a reason to why they did not manage to get past that level.

2021-02-18 06:34:01 +0000 UTCYou are wrong here. She's not a raid boss by herself, she's a raid boss when all the floor defenses are active. It would not even make any sense for her to be a raid boss, since she's the same level as all top players and just has great gear and skills.

Shalltear is a level 100 floor guardian with the highest stats among all guardians which is why she guards the first 3 floors. Basically she is a raid boss that a entire party is suppose to defeat and Ainz will be going in alone to face her.

This is for Pandora's Actor:Total Level 100. Racial Level: Doppelgänger (15), Greater Doppelgänger (10), etc (20). Job Level: Expert (10), Craftsman (10), Lord of a Castle (15), etc (20). HP 81, MP 86, Phy. Atk. 43 (variable), Phy. Def. 45 (variable), Agility 84 (variable), Mag. Atk. 17 (variable), Mag. Def.48 (variable), Resistance 39 (variable), Special Ability 100. Total 543 (variable). His stats and job classes change depending on who he copies. Ainz's datasheet is a bit more interesting but I'll save that for the next episode xD

2020-11-06 20:59:48 +0000 UTCThe only "spoiler" left in the opening is Shalltear's battle gear. If you don't care about it, you can watch it next episode. Otherwise, last episode it is. Not sure if anyone else mentioned it but all guardians (aside from Victim), and Pandora's Actor and Sebas are level 100. As it was also mentioned in the episode, Shalltear is heavily optimised for pvp and is overall the strongest guardian, and that's why she guarded the first 3 floors alone. The battle maids. like Narbelal, Solution and Yuri, are all ~lvl 60 (some lower, some higher). And while they all look human, none of them are. Narbelal is a doppelganger, but she's not specialised in it so she probably can't transform into too many forms, like Pandora's Actor (greater doppelganger). Yuri is a dullahan (type of undead), and Solution is a slime.

The Light novel goes into much more detail: - there are supposedly 200 total World items - The Guild Ainz Oal Goan possesses 11 of them - Many Players had the opinion world items are to broken - Among the World items was a group called the 20: -> one was Longinus wich could delete the targets account, but would delete the users account as well - (the accounts couldn't be recovered by any means other then the use of another world item) -> Ahura Mazda, wich had a powerful effect against targets with negative karma and could cover an entire world -> Wu Xing Controlling Cycle, which allowed the user to demand the company of Yggdrasil to change part of the magic system -> Ouroboros, same as Wu Xing Controlling Cycle, but not restricted to magic system (you could basically change anything in the game to your liking) -> World Saver, the most powerful item, which usually had only as much attack power as a club but could have allowed a solo fighter to take out Nazarick even back when all the guild members were around, since it could grow limitless more powerful. - the twenty are all one use items, after use they would respawn somewhere else - Nazarick owns 2 of the twenty

He is a greater doppelganger, meaning he can transform into other beings, allowing him to use their abilities at 80 % effectiveness. As a high level doppelganger he can remember 45 transformations, making him very versatile. He has been ordered by Ainz to remember all of the past 40 members of Ainz Ooal Gown, with the one that you saw being the creator of Albedo.

He will preserve the well being of his followers over everything else. By the way a level 100 NPC usually is stronger than a level 100 Player in most games overall.
