A cool fact is that in the end, he switches from "watakushi" (pronoun used by old people) to "ore" (used when he was young) when he's saying "I love you", because he never really said it directly when he was young.

2020-11-10 00:15:14 +0000 UTCPre episode: The show doesn't go out of its way to tell you the relation between Wilhelm and Reinhard, but it obviously lets you know both of their names and the family being a line of master swordsman. Knowing they're related puts some interesting implications out. Episode 21: This is one of my favorite episodes. Just love the way that this team works together. I LOVE Wilhelm's backstory, the cuts between the flashback and him killing the whale, always make me tear up. Also that is the first time that Wilhelm said I love you to his wife, even more tragic. Crusch might be my favorite candidate. I like Emilia for sure, but Crusch just seems like someone you would want to lead. Seeing their camps get along is some magical. And of course, plenty of great Rem moments here. I think it's obvious, with the dialogue in the later half that Subaru clearly cares a lot about Rem.

BUT LET me just say about this episode... it was so beautiful especially with Wilhelm's story with his wife. THE FEELS were strong with this one
