She managed to finish season 3, so there is trust. Many quit at one specific point. I am waiting for her to dive into the "The witch of the falling kingdom" arc (likely, season 5 after the "holy kingdom" arc movie). Maybe season 4 and the movie will strengthen the connection to Ainz, because it will get really dirty in season 5.

Thank you Florin, that made me diving back into reading the light novel from the start, again :) It just triggers all my powercreep RPG senses, so well. There is another whole level of character in the hesitation of Ainz, which shows his error in that specific fight. He got basically saved by Aura, because he did not manage to kill Shalltear on time. Another point to his character. It's never mentioned that way, but this is the result of good character writing. Maruyama is not perfect, but I would love having that guy as dungeon master.

I truly hope she continues tell season 2 and 3 but if she does goes too season 2 then I truly can't wait tell she reaches episode 4 of season 2 cause it's gonna get good and better

Shalltear stabbed the old lady who use mind control on her. The old lady was not able to set proper orders on Shalltear after using the world item. And so it was set by default to just defend if attack. Ains' used most of his work savings buying cash shop items.

A few more details about Ainz and Yggdrasil (the game) in general: Yggdrasil was a game that didn't really offer any info/guides, so it was up to all the players to discover classes, items and so on. Ainz stumbled upon his Eclipse class simply because he was focused on roleplaying so he built his character around it. He also has a skill that increases his mana above the maximum limit (his datasheet simply shows it above the maximum), and an ability (Dark Wisdom I think it was called) that allowed him to learn over 700 spells, when the maximum was ~300 if I remember correctly. Touch Me-sama actually won a server wide tournament, which is how he obtained his World Champion class. Aside from that armor, he also received a completely broken skill but that's not relevant here. And right at the end, it was indeed Aura who used a Fear skill on Shalltear. Shalltear can't be feared so all it did was distract her for a second. Ainz hesitated to kill Shalltear, and if she managed to land a hit the spell would've been interrupted and she would've won.

It's understandable you were confused when he used The Goal of All Life is Death, since the anime wasn't even half as epic as the light novel. Here's the quote that explains it: That class was ’Eclipse’. 「The Overlord that has mastered death in the truest sense will rise to this class. Like an eclipse, he will encroach upon all life.」— was what was written in the class status description. And what he was about to use now, the skill learned at level five, which was the highest possible level of the Eclipse class. It was a skill that could only be used once every 100 hours. A method to defend against it was to, like Shalltear, deploy a self-resurrection effect and so on. It was also the reason why even inanimate objects like the air and land had died. Although its effects weren’t to this extent in YGGDRASIL, in the real world, it was much more clearly pronounced in the form of granting ‘Death’ to all equally.
