The menu of Nazarick was influenced by real players, so it stands as a reminder for that specific influence. Now rewind back to the rubiks cube, something left behind by the six gods, something out of this world, that impacted the people in this new world.

2020-11-23 18:39:49 +0000 UTCThey only intended to make 1 season, so this was intended for some catch up. Also they skipped a lot of detail which is a big part of the Overlord novel. E.g. the two people in the beginning are godkin, descendants of the 6 great gods. While not as strong as the gods, they are still stronger than normal and are kept a secret from the rest of the world.
