2021-01-08 12:21:04 +0000 UTCObviously Subaru couldn't tell Otto about RbD, he just told him about the circumstances without explaining how he learned it all, hence Otto's "just tell me to believe you!" Patrasche forced herself into the Tomb to pull him out in EP38, and Roswaal got his injuries for being inside as well. So Subaru looks kinda roughed up at the last shot because he forced his way in, too.

Just to clarify, Subaru is within the tomb and he is in pain. Even though the episode was 28 mins long with no op and ed, they still skipped a lot of details in the novel.
