Also, is it just me, or are they purposely omitting the current timeline and the ages of the characters, like Fortuna for example. Was it ever addressed that the elves, or half elves don’t age the same as humans? As in they live longer years? I can’t remember if that was ever stated. All of this is obviously happening many years after the events that occurred “400 years ago” as previously mentioned by a few characters in the first half of season 2. I remember Emilia said she was frozen in ice for a very long time. Is it too far-fetched to say that maybe she was frozen for decades? I’m not sure how that would work with Guese, knowing his fate. Perhaps a light novel reader can enlighten me? If it involves too much spoilers, then It’s better not to say. I just feel like this was hinted before. Could be completely wrong.

If you remember when Emilia cried back in season 1 when she killed one of Petelgeuse's fingers during the attack on the village, she cried. At the time I thought she was just crying because she didn't want to kill, but we know now part of her remembered him, even if not fully. Also Petelgeuse is pronounced like "Petal Juice". Like Betelgeuse, the star.
