2021-03-28 03:11:02 +0000 UTCTo be honest, I think its one of those times where the anime is made to drum up attention to the manga. From what I've read, they've already skipped a lot of content, which could easily have made it into a longer show for sure. Take Yuki Yoshikawa, at the start of the show, when she sees Izumi jump the fence, not knowing who he is, there's a whole plot there with her getting a cruch on him etc., that isn't in the anime. Also, in the end, so far, the anime has covered 9 volumes of the manga its adapting, episode 13 probably chewing well into volume 10. That doesn't really leave much room for a 2nd season, since that means there's only 5 volumes left.
