2022-04-10 23:42:50 +0000 UTCSo yeah, regarding the common troupes for the isekai main characters, that's what they've been commonly but one anime recommendation I can say where the MC is just like what you describe, there is one and is highly regarded among every isekai series because it is the novel that made Isekai as popular as it is now. The title is Mushoku Tensei or also known as Jobless Reincarnation. It might not be a cup of tea for everyone especially with the first arcs but it is one of those series that keeps getting better and better as deeper you go further in it. It's a newly adapted series this year and is about to release its second season this October. Just an FYI, an anime studio was built just to make this series. It's like a collab from several anime studios and is considered a passion series because of it.

2021-07-14 10:50:14 +0000 UTCMost isekais begin with the MC either being summoned or reincarnated in some way, I feel that in some way both happen here, as we saw the shield hero was summoned, but the moment he was accused and labeled in a way who he was died, that happy optimistic young man is gone, going forward he has to be cold and ruthless to prevent anyone of taking advantage of him and well the slave trader may be shady as hell he also doesn't hide who he is or his intentions and that's the type of person he can somewhat trust.

I have a feeling she'll really like this one, I mean it can get dark but no darker than this, focuses on a male lead but has an excellent supporting cast of strong female characters & there's little down time as it's very story driven. This is my favorite anime of the decade.

True, this isekai isn't like most but that's what makes it so good imo and I guarantee that you will love this series as you continue to watch it!!!!!

2021-04-04 05:23:09 +0000 UTCyea... i felt like redo of a healer is a hentai parody of rising of the shield hero. redo has the slave thing like this anime and the two girl who mess with both of the main characters had pink hair. also to be fair to the other ppl.... myne was the one manipulating them and they were just too stupid to think outside the box.
