I just had a question.
I was told to not watch the movie yet until the GMG arc is over. I assumed it was going to end in two episodes but we left off at a cliffhanger for the season final.
So if not after I post the reactions I will do an opening reaction and the reaction to OVA 6 before I continue with the series.

Nah bro don't even ask....now because of her established/asserted all-encompassing power by her white warriors of the mighty (in litters world) round table, we gotta follow by her rules. She gives an update and we're supposed to wait another week for it to actually drop (maybe 1 always maybe, in case we're lucky, coz usually it's 2-3). Hope it clarifies you out and all those other peeps that were being so cool with this whole situation, there's your answer, no need to prolong further on that.

Fairy Tail: Phoenix Priestess the movie does not spoil the the grand magic games, in fact i am not sure how much cannon they show in that movie. Movie 2 on the other hand will spoil the last season and is best to watch after ftz. I hope this helps.

2021-05-23 05:28:27 +0000 UTCActually it doesn't matter/spoil much and you can watch it after the first episode of the next season for better context. Otherwise you'd have to wait until after episode 90 of next season to avoid all references/spoilers for the final arc/season.

Juvia could always change her hair for a short period of time that the movie takes place but a building is a little different. Also, if we are going by hair then Macao and Wakaba have their pre time skip hair so many people's looks are all over the place.

2021-05-23 00:40:18 +0000 UTCOne of the reasons for the season to end in the middle of the arc is because episode 175 aired in march (2013), and The GMG was still ongoing in the manga at that time. I belive it’s one of Fairy Tail’s longest arcs.

There is also something that is in the movie that is not in the show yet. I don't want to say because of spoilers. I'd also wait to watch OVA 6 and 7 for this time period as well because they can slot right in without interrupting the main story.

I can not remember all of it but i doubt you can not watch it. I highly doubt they would spoiler anything future arcs. What you can not watch however is the second Movie Dragon Cry

2021-05-23 00:21:44 +0000 UTCSince you’re literally still in the middle of the GMG arc it only makes sense to watch the movie after you finished the arc. And tbh OVA 6 is super random and not even canon to the manga unlike OVA 4 and 5 so I’d watch that after GMG too
