Ah yeah. 175. This was good. This was the time they also went on Hiatus due to the manga and I think they also changed the studio so don't be surprised that the animation has changed.

Yeah i used to love this fight as a kid but now i can see how protagonism can ruin some parts in this show

I had my apprehensions of this show because I heard they tuned fights like this more often after the tenrou arc, and now I see why. I don't want to ruin the mood but this fight was bad. Why all the build up if Natsu could beat them so easily but instead they have to show one side taking turns getting beat up? I mean, he even ends up beating both of them on his own? Oh well, more pandering to the main character I guess.

Man I remember when I watched to this point and it stopped airing and I started reading the manga. I think the season ended here because it caught up with the manga and they definitely couldn't just put a filler arc at this point.

Yeah, this is a weird place to stop an anime and take a hiatus but the anime was getting close to the manga. Episode 175 released the same week as Chapter 325 which was adapted into Episode 190. So the anime was only 15 weeks behind the manga. They had to do something to give themselves a buffer.

Some people are here just to ruin the vibes. I hope you please don’t listen to them Jamie! Please make up your own opinions about the anime. I personally think it’s great. I’m a very emotional and passionate person so I can relate to this anime a lot the emotions are triggering factors for strength boost. Plus some things are given (i.e. Natsu is stronger than Sting and Rogue). So have fun, enjoy the ride and don’t let bitter people spoil the ride for you! Ty for reaction :D❤️

I agree the final FT arc could’ve been better but I did enjoy it for what it was. Even if the final arc wasn’t all that great FT is still my favorite anime of all time. Some of the decisions in the final arc was bad but not every anime is perfect. We just see the fight in two different ways and that’s ok.

whose hating or who? it's my own personal rant. also rogue didn't move a muscle when he went dragon force and just stood on standby. you mean to tell me that dragon force rogue fights the same way as normal state rogue? obviously dragon force gives the user a tremendous power boost so you can't say "yea but natsu was observing rogue before he went dragon force so obviously when he did go dragon force he got him all figure out" doesn't really work like that. also the difference between fairy tail and naruto/dbz is that fairy tail is one of the most controverisial series to date. that's the difference. i follow the fairy tail manga before the final arc was animated and ppl were raging at how poorly that arc played out and the birth of the power of friendship meme was born with that arc. i honestly was hoping they change some things in the anime when they announced the final arc but nope. im not saying ppl should not enjoy the show. if you did read what i wrote on my last post i literally said that ppl can like what they like but im just giving ppl a history lesson as to y the series is so controversial. also i literally just say i watch fairy tail before the last arc was animated from start to finish 3 times and idk about you but if i don't like something then you bet ur ass that im not going to waste me time rewatching it 3 times. it's not that i hate but it's just me being a critic. that last scene with natsu taking out both sting and rogue with his secret art? why can't it be like a beam struggle to make the win more convincing? but nope it blew past it like nothing was holding it back. even a beam struggle would have been better.

They literally say in the episode that Natsu was just stronger than Sting and Rogue. His second origin had a lot to do with that to.

fairy tail power of friend ship has became a meme and i used to love fairy tail and watched it 3 times from start to finish (before the final season/arc came out) but now i can't help but cringe watching fairy tail. i feel like in fairy tail, ppl just get stronger for no reason and no buildup whatsoever. hiro mashima could make lucy beat laxus at this point if he felt like it because of the power of friendship. how convient is it for sting to be beating both natsu and gajeel at the same time to now natsu matching rogue and sting while they are in dragon force? sure natsu said that he memorized sting attack pattern ok that's kinda excusable but how about rogue? he didn't even fight him once and all of a sudden he's able to beat dragon force rogue as if he been fighting him this whole time? it just make 0 sense. i get that some ppl or alot of ppl still like fairy tail and ill let them like what they like but at this point in time fairy tail has became a series that alot of ppl are disappointed in. i don't understand how some ppl don't see though the bull shit in natsu in his regular form kicking the crap out of dragon force users. it be one thing if he use his lightning mode or dragon force mode but this? it's lazy writing is what it is. that's like krillin suddenly able to beat up a ssj.

i honestly don't understand the frustration of sting and rogue putting up a fight... how boring would it had been if natsu and gajeel one shotted them? wouldn't be the least bit exciting and it would make sting and rogue look like pushovers in the coming arcs. also acnologia is ridiclously strong even by dragon standards so it's not really a good comparison as to how strong or weak the other dragons are... that's like saying all humans are strong because we see how ridiculously powerful gildart is.

It took break cause changed studios also it gave everyone that mentality like WTF we been hearing the voice over saying something bads coming then ends on something good. Also I just wish you'd carry on with the arc for now because want to see how you react to who it is

Some people hate this fight for n reasons but the context is sabertooth and much more Sting deserve this punishment for the way they treat Fairy Tail

This isn’t the end of the arc. The arc will continue, they switched studios and that’s why it’s a kinda weird transition. They were on hiatus for a year in Japan.

they took a break came back, the animations is...different...but it's not as bad as what happened with Sins season 3. I didn't even notice it way back when but have been binging it on hulu because of your reviews so I watched from season to season and it caught me off guard
