Shield Hero 16 & 17 Reaction + Review

As into this show as I was and as great as it started I think right here is the point where it really went down hill for me (and never gets better). I'm sure there's plenty in the manga/LN that make more sense but here we have the OP queen saying I'll kill you all ONLY to Naofumi, like she doesn't have the power to find and affect all of them. Fitoria can fuck right the hell off. 1st off I probably would have killed the king (and likely Myne, and the other "heroes") in that meeting where he threatend Raftalia and Filo. It's actually boarderline unfathomable to me that Naofumi isn't actively trying to destroy the world, let alone saving parts of it.

Even if the people are against you, you have to be the better person. Show them how much better you are and don't care what they think about you. That's what Fitoria was trying to say.

Good catch, he doesn't actually have a lvl cap that was just an error once in an old opb translation. However, his lvl has stagnated as I mentioned so his party still find themselves in essentially the exact same predicament.

Side note: "Ahoge" doesn't litterally translate to "cowlick", unfortunately it doesn't really translate well because it's a troupe used in Anime character design that litterally means "Foolish or Stupid Hair" albeit the stupid is much less "insulting" than it sounds in English, it's meant to be a piece of endearment that is supposed to give "character" to the character through the design that only "airheads" will have, and with Filo being a character who really only cares about eating it's fitting lol: Edward Elric from FMA, Emilia from The Devil is a Part-Timer, and even Goku are all examples of Ahoge in Design, and even though Emilia isn't "stupid" she's clumsy which also applies. As for Naofumi having to be the one to set things right, yes it's not "right" that it has to be him nor should he have to by a long shot, however Fitoria isn't wrong when she asks if he really did everything he could to prove his innocence because he didn't, and in the end what she's basically saying is that he is going to pretty much be the only one who can actually set things right if the other heroes don't believe him (which you already saw how Ren and Itsuki were convinced that he wasn't lying.) Yes it's annoying, but she's not wrong with most of what she asks and tells him especially as a being who isn't human, she has no obligation towards any humans and in fact is only doing what she's doing because of an obligation she has from her former master and hero.

Naofumi is a hero, he doesn't have a Level cap, it's Filo and Raphtalia who are level capped.

Yea I felt a similar way... I get that there's a method to her madness, because look what happened in the fight with Glass and remember Naofumi's level has not increased once since then because it's capped and the king won't let him remove that cap or leave the country to do so... but still, at the same time she tosses around the word kill a little too freely lol.

I don't remember filo saying she was the queen? xD because she was shocked when she said she was the next in line to become queen.

the reason she wants the shield hero to reconcile with the other hero is because she rates him higher then the other heroes as she has said. in other words she wants naofumi to be the bigger man. also.... i was surprise that u were shocked that filo is the queen. wasn't it said that the reason filo can transform is because she was a filo queen?

To be fair, as Fitoria was saying, she's fighting where the other heroes should be fighting. And the heroes should have been summoned to a country each, not all 4 in the same one. So in the end, she is making a fair point over all xD
