As to the complaint about Ainz vs Gazef this is not a Shonen combat is not the main focus story is. So the fights only exist to serve the story rather than the story existing to serve the fights.

Powerwise Ainz is about the middle of his guild Touch Me was the strongest so strong infact his build was broken and the devs had to go in and make it impossible for anyone else to get it. So while Ainz is powerful some of the Floor Guardians are stronger Shalltear for instance.

While Ainz ain't big brain schemer, he is heavily Analytical & Technical, INT wise, as seen w/ his supreme mastery & winning in duels by his mastery of Game Mechanics (he would always intentionally lose his 1st duel to learn his opponent, then roflstomp them the 2nd time around ez)

i never watch overlord but i just watch a few scenes that had cgi and all i gotta said is "yikes". who ever though it was a good idea needs to be fired. ps3 games had better cgi then this. i can't believe im saying this but season 3 of seven deadly sins looks better. doesn't matter if you've seen worst cgi because a bad cgi is a bad cgi.

So the thing about Ainz is that he is very very paranoid and cautious. That is one of the reasons why (aside from their op abilities) it will be very hard to find a way to defeat him. While he is not as smart as Demiurge, he takes great lengths to make sure his plans are 100% foolproof and is always finding ways to make himself and Nazarick stronger. On top of his overpowered magic abilities and his op army, hes more cautious than anyone in that world. Combined, its impossible to stop him unless an equally powerful army arises or his people turn against him.
