Tanya is one of the most complex and interesting mcs out there. You can tell she has sociopathic tendencies but in truth, alot of her decisions are actually very reasonable and hard to argue.

I have waited so long for this! I loved this show so much i started reading the Light novels.

Tanya has the same VA as Clementine from Overlord as well.

The first 2 episodes of Tanya could be quite confusing, at least it was for me when I first watched it. So, for anyone who is watching alongside SMF, I'll summarize the situation real quick. Essentially, pre-Tanya lived a life of logic and reason, where bad actions have direct consequences and good actions are rewarded as such. Thus, without any physical evidence of the existence of god/the devil/upper beings, he refuses to accept the existence of the god that stopped time during his death (hence why he calls the god “Being X” instead of “god”). Pre-Tanya mentioned that due to his life being so orderly and comfortable, he had no reason to put faith in a being that isn’t confirmed to exist. So, to get Tanya to start putting faith and believing in Being X, she was sent to a harsh, war-torn world where its dire straits would eventually convert Tanya into faith. This is why in the show, when anything bad happens to her (like the republican mage company appearing during episode 2), she believes that its Being X’s doing, purposely making the world harder for her to forcefully turn her to believe in god. Tanya’s goal in the anime is to basically climb the ranks of the military to live a comfortable life without fighting. However, all her actions to make that a reality backfire on her which is hilarious. Sorry if no one asked for this, I just had trouble understanding the first time around so I wanted to help anyone else who was also confused :)

i hope she watches cautious hero. the 4 main isekais in quartet are re zero, overlord, konosuba, and tanya which you are watching now as the last of the 4.

doubt it, people get carried away and just say anything... slime isnt a kadokawa anime like overlord,tanya,kono,rezero & cautious. Bofuri, could show up though

I saw a rumor that Slime will be added to season 3 of Isekai Quartet but idk if it's official or true. And theres also a cameo of Cautious Hero in season 2. It's also good that you watched Shield Hero cuz that's in season 2 Also SMF its okay to watch the opening and ending themes next episode when they come in theres no spoilers in either of them at all
