Personally I'm not a fan of Alibaba. I still love the show despite that, but I dislike him quite a bit. Morgiana and Sinbad are my favourites. Sinbad has nothing to do with Sin though, it's just his name (and it's a famous character from stories as well). An alternative way to say/spell it is Sindbad.

2021-08-01 14:36:36 +0000 UTCnot sure if you knew this about sinbad or not... but sinbad is a conqueror of multiple dungeons and every time a dungeon is captured, that person takes the power of the dungeon just like how alibaba conquer the dungeon in the beginning and now he is able to use it's power. metal vessals is the weapons' that contained the dungeon powers. when sinbad was robbed of all his belongings, they took all his metal vessels as well so right now he is powerless. dijuu is what the blue genies are called.

The adventures of Sinbad is technically a prequel but its also a spin off series following the life of Sinbad before he shows up in this series but that's about it. It's a completely different story that does not have much of a tie in with Magi at all. It was also made after Magi was made and was designed to be watched after you have seen Magi and had all the world building and lore elements introduced to you from Magi. It wouldn't spoil much if you watched it first but it was not made to be watched first.

Yes, The Adventures of Sinbad is technically a prequel, but it's also a separate manga from magi and reveals a lot about the world that we'll learn about later. And I think you'll like Adventures of Sinbad more after you see more of him in this show. You learn about him here and then see his past and backstory. Really looking forward to the reactions
