The whole zentopia arc was actually canon, author just never drawn this because he had no time. Nevertheless it was still mentioned in manga, the fact those events happened (when Lucy an Yukino talked about giving Lucy all the golden keys)

Yeah this whole battle was tough to read in the manga. So grueling, so much gore and so much hopelessness. But then Ultear comes in and just hits me in the feels. Ultear's sacrifice is one of my favorite moments. It feels so fitting that she gets punished for her time of being evil by realizing her life isn't worth that much time (still very sad though) but in actuality that time was perfect in order to stop the death of our heros and for them to turn the battle around.

In the manga, this moment is more graphic and bloody, the headshot was censored in the anime... but in the manga the pages are heartrending, I swear that when saw this for the first time it was terribly traumatic and we wait two weeks for the next chapter... it was so frustrating...

Amazing reaction, as always! Thank you for the 3 episodes surprise treat :D Watching Gray die for the first time was just so gruesome and heartbreaking. I knew in the back of my mind that something would happen, that he won't actually die forever but even still the idea and the graphics made it so sad and scary. >.<
