There is some serious time travel paradox stuff going on in this arc that makes no sense. For Example: Destroying the portal in theory would make future rogue and Lucy disappear (assuming you are working within the confines of a single time lime and not branching time line theory like the avengers endgame). But if the dragons were brought from the past and not the future then the destruction of the gate should not have made them disappear because nothing about their time changed they came from the past to the future. They still moved forward in time. The only way to make the dragons from the past disappear in the future would be to go back in time again to before the were summoned and stop them from being summoned in the first place. This is why time travel stories are difficult and I believe should generally be avoided unless you go to great lengths to make sure there aren't plot holes.

I love the GMG Arc. Nothing beats the Tower of Heaven Arc for me but this arc really comes close. A lot of my favorite moments come from it nd I think it has one of the best conclusions to an arc ever. Ultear's goodbye is in my top 5 favorite moments.

Future Lucy got her happy ending yeah but that is the afterlife with the golden meadows. In that timeline fairy tail is gone. From this point I saw the series going downhill for me. The people who saw the whole series maybe know why I think that.

The upcoming filler arc is my favorite filler arc in Fairy Tail. Also, a lot of the other filler episodes coming up aren't really filler because they are based off of shorts from Hiro Mashima. They just aren't based on chapters.

When i was on this point on the series , the first time i watched fairy tail , i kinda thought that maybe Gray rejected Juvia not because he doesn`t really have feelings for her but because he has a lot on his chest with the visions of his death and because he did have feelings for her he didn`t want to burden her ... seeing your death i`m sure it changes you and makes you think a lot about life and death . Also it`s sad that Ultear lost her time and became old but on the other hand i`m glad that finally there were some consequences for using magic .... i`m sure if the show would have stick to consequences then maybe fairy tail would have been a top tier anime ( don`t get me wrong , i love fairy tail but it had potential to be so much more great )

Yeah it's a pretty weird mixture. IIRC The first and last 5 minutes are canon, and pretty important scenes that foreshadow/conclude some fairly important plot points.

If you remember towards the beginning of the series when Lucy first joined Mira used a light pen to write in the air how the council and guilds work then she drew out the dark guilds alliance, there we see the three DGs that Fairy Tail would end up facing: Oracion Seis, Grimoire Heart, and then Tartaros.

why are all FT arcs end in tears and why I'm I crying again????? some of the next episodes are not filler they are canon from the manga but the one big filler arc is stupid, trash and I won't be watching. Tartaros arc is when the animation is changing for the better because it is top 2 arcs in FT also remember Jami Tartaros was mentioned way early as one of the 3 main dark guilds with oracion seis and grimoire heart
