Slime 15 & 16 Reaction + Review!

Season 1 of Slime covered 4 Volumes of the light novel. Personally, Volume 4 which season 1 ends with is my least favorite I found it to just be less interesting.

On the topic of Rimuru being OP if he were to fight Hakuro 1 on 1 in a real fight Hakruo would win every time. He stood no chance against Gazel who has surpassed Hakuro. People often compare this to Overlord which makes sense thematically there similar but Rimuru isn't OP out of the gate like Lord Ains

P.S. you really need to watch the section before the opening credits, otherwise you'll be cutting off an important part of the story. This will be increasingly important as the series progresses as there will be episodes that will jump right into the story without any title sequence interruptions.

Just FYI, the anime left out the fact that Gazel would have absolutely destroyed Rimuru at this point in time if he was serious.

Milim will make more sense as time goes on. You'll get some backstory on her as to why she acts the way she does.

haha you are correct about the voice actors! Demon Lord Clayman is played by Roswall's VA, along with Laplace being Zoro. On top of that Gabiru's voice is Kazuma from Konosuba

There is indeed more to Milim than meets any eye other than her own (injoke) but this episode is a pretty good gauge of her personality for at least a good while. Also Milim dresses this way because she wants to, because nobody wants to test her strength or their own mortality to tell her no. I think it's part of her gauging who is good enough to be a "playmate" for her. Also this season is indeed meant as a nice, comfortable introduction to this world. While are a couple of different challenges this season, both to this burgeoning alliance and to Rimuru himself, this is more to show what our friends are capable of both in their abilities and interpersonal skills. Don't worry, though, things will escallate soon enough.
