One Piece Opening 22 & 23 Reaction + Review!

100% agree. Everyone that keeps saying spoilers is because they know the context of what happens. Some people connect the dots from what they see, and others don't. It's that simple. I'm someone who has watched all of Black Clover without having read the manga and have seen all openings without feeling something was being spoiled except for very few points in the story which wasn't a big deal in the end.

I can't speak for anyone but myself when I say that I feel the animators know more than we think they actually do. We could just write it off as over analyzing the opening to see Denjiro/Kyoshiro thrown in there with the rest of the scabbards, but It looked to me like a big hint. Had they thrown Kyoshiro along with Kaido and Orochi, nobody would have given it a second look.

I recommend actually going back some time and rewatching all intro's. I'm someone who usually skips intros, but most of the One Piece ones are still pretty amazing so it's worth doing even just to refresh your memory on how good they are.

I guess that I have a different view of what I consider spoilers than others. So much of what people consider spoilers are only spoilers because they know the context of what is being shown. Most people watching for the first time would just see characters doing stuff and it's only after you see what they do that you understand the scene in the opening. The only spoilers that I felt were really bad were the third and sixteenth openings. The third shows Robin joining the crew while she is still a villain in Alabasta. The sixteenth opening shows Fujitora as an Admiral six episodes before that was shown that it spoils the mystery of the character. I could somewhat see showing Kaido as a dragon in Over the Top as a spoiler but it's not like his forms was being kept as a secret or was a huge reveal. Also, the second version of Dreamin' On showing Izo and Marco I put in the same boat. Openings had shown characters that are not in the arc so people watching it for the first time could tie to together to that or the fact that they had just recently seen those characters in the flashback that just ended.

The openings never spoiled manga readers. It was just a coincidence. That's it. People over analyze these openings all the time. What they are talking about is that in Over the Top it shows characters connected to Wano in groups of two. It has the Akazaya members and also Kyoshiro. At the time there were only seven Akazaya members revealed so they needed to put another character in there to fill out their groups of two. Kyoshiro is a major Wano centric character and fits perfectly into this. People took this as them spoiling that Kyoshiro was Denjiro 8 months before it was revealed in the manga when the anime probably didn't even know that this was the case. It's just a simple coincidence that people have blown out of proportion.

I am pretty sure I heard once that the Japanese community and industry have as a fact that they are also reading the manga so that's why they include spoilers in the openings

I'm pretty sure you can watch the new opening for 1000. Because there just redoing we are op 1. And I heard it's only for 1000. Maybe you should ask your mods to watch the opening first and then tell you it's ok to watch it.
