True, remember that fate zero is a prequel, so you are not supposed to know Sakura and Rin's relationship at this point. Like spoiling Vader and Luke's relationship if you watched Star Wars prequels first 😖

Another thing to keep in mind is that originally at this point in the story you didn’t know that Sakura and Rin are sisters. Also Shinji is the absolute worst, there is no other character in anime I despise more.

And if you still remember, the summoning circle was made by Iri and Saber to summon the Holy grail but never got to use it because Iri was kidnapped by Berserker.

It reverses cause and effect, meaning that his spear will always hit its mark. Example: The spear struck my opponent, therefore it pierced their heart. With his noble phantasm, it becomes "the spear pierced my opponent's heart, therefore it must have struck them."

2022-01-25 17:43:27 +0000 UTCAbout Lancers noble phantasm: It is a move that essentialy alters realty so that the spear is guaranteed to pierce the oponents heart. I believe the official reason Saber (or baeber as abridged rin calls her) could evade it is that she have a high enough instinct and luck that she can defy fate. I think a more accurate reason is that she has plot armor.
