That and the king essentially groomed her. Taken out of context the things he gave her are enviable. A place of power at the kings right hand. She was responsible for turning their village into a literal empire in a mere 13 years. And he gave her 3 daughters. Out of context these could be Wonderful things. And that's what Ymir doesn't have. She doesn't know any life but that of a slave.
